Graeme's interest in photography began while still at school when he received his first proper camera aged 14. The obsession quickly took hold and if he wasn't out shooting film, he could be found in the school darkroom printing countless photos by hand. On leaving school, Graeme found work as an assistant to a commercial photographer, first in the lab making prints before progressing to assisting on location shoots, photographing everything from building sites to models and even aerial photography, including one memorable day spent hanging out of a helicopter to photograph a sewage works from the air, the smell on a hot summer afternoon was unbelievable.!

At the tender age of nineteen Graeme, struck out on his own becoming a freelance photographer, later going on to work for a large studio in Scotland which was where he first found his true calling as a Perth wedding photographer. As photography changed from film to digital, Graeme once again set out on his own, this time specialising in wedding photography and video production covering the whole of Scotland. Since then, Graeme has photographed several hundred weddings throughout the UK, specifically covering Scotland and the cities of Edinburgh, Perth and Stirling, Glasgow, Dundee and Inverness and Aberdeen. Initially working from his Kinross home, the business swiftly outgrew the house and moved to office premises in Milnathort, where it remained until April 2010 when the company relocated back to Kinross, this time to a High Street studio location.

From this central base, Graeme is able to easily reach Edinburgh, Perth and Stirling all within half an hour, with Glasgow and Dundee around an hour away, and Inverness and Aberdeen in two hours. For destinations further afield, Edinburgh airport is only 20 minutes away making most of Europe easily accessible for Graeme.

Graeme's style of wedding photography, a blend of modern reportage and classical portraiture, has proved popular with couples who are looking for stunning images which capture the full story of the their wedding day, in a relaxed atmosphere with a minimum of fuss and interruption. Graeme firmly believes that a wedding day should be about the bride and groom and their friends and family having a fantastic day, rather than standing about in a line endlessly smiling for tedious group wedding photos.
Despite experience in portraiture, commercial and advertising photography and music photography and video production, photographing weddings remains Graeme's passion above all else.

After investigating numerous options from UK companies for albums to complement Graeme's unique style of photography, he realised that it would be necessary to look further afield to find the style and quality of album that he felt his clients deserved, at an affordable price. Consequently Graeme exclusively deals with two styles of album Ð, the Jorgensen range of contemporary matted albums, hand made in Australia; and the Graphistudio Storybook albums from Italy. Graeme has worked closely with both companies for several years and is convinced that they offer the best combination of style, cover options, print quality and price anywhere in the world.

In addition to photography, Graeme has considerable experience in video production for commercial clients and the music industry which gives him a unique perspective on wedding video production. Like his photography, the videos are filmed unobtrusively in the background and edited heavily to ensure that the video covers all of the action without being over-long and boring. Filming is generally done with at least two cameras, and HD (High Definition) is now an option.
