The stunning Long Gallery can accommodate wedding parties of up to 100 people all year round and is available for religious, civil and humanist ceremonies. Larger weddings can be accommodated in the Orangery, which holds up to 150 people, or you can opt to have your ceremony outside in the gardens. If you prefer there are several other local venues for your ceremony including various churches and Balgonie Castle, just a few miles away.
Whether you choose to have your whole day at Balbirnie, or just the reception, one thing is for sure – it’s a perfect location for great wedding photographs, with countless photo locations inside the main house and around the grounds, and all easily accessible so you won’t have to be away from your own wedding for any longer than absolutely necessary. The wedding breakfast is usually served in the ballroom which, with its unique illuminated dance floor, holds up to 250 for your evening reception
